So where are the cartoons of Gillard and Rudd puffing up their alleged achievements ? Oh I forgot ... they're Labor.

Towards a new national anthem, with apologies to Messrs Fields and Donovan, composers of Abadaba Honeymoon. Abbott Abbott Abbott Abbott Abbott, Abbott, Abbott said the monkey to the chimp, Abbott Abbott Abbott Abbott Abbott, Abbott, Abbott said the chimpy to the monk. All day long they chattered away, All day long they were happy and gay, Swinging and singing in a Hockey Tacky way.

Oh come on HH. Political cartoonists are about the present, not the past. Their role, like that of journalists, is to prick the balloons of those currently in power, lest they come to believe their own propaganda. And don't you accept that there is at least some truth in Fiona's captions?

Oi HH, stop living in the past. Abbott is in charge now (sigh) and we have to live with that. The boot is on the other foot and no amount of kicking will shake it off. The comment is not inaccurate either. Merry Christmas to you also.

Brett, & GM, I meant: where WERE Fiona's cartoons lampooning Gillard/Rudd boasting of their alleged achievements back in the day - apparently Fiona wasn't into pricking balloons so much then, eh? Meanwhile, thanks Brett for your Christmas greetings - and I wish you and GM a most happy Christmas in return.

Here are just a few examples of this cartoonist taking the Mickey out of Gillard, HH. < http://www.eurekastreet.com.au/article.aspx?aeid=26231#.VJgF2AALs >, < http://www.eurekastreet.com.au/article.aspx?aeid=27377#.VJgGfAALs >, < http://www.eurekastreet.com.au/article.aspx?aeid=26892#.VJgGyAALs >, < http://www.eurekastreet.com.au/article.aspx?aeid=28343#.VJgHPAALs >, < http://www.eurekastreet.com.au/article.aspx?aeid=29318#.VJgHoAALs >.
