It's a gas gas gas

In this Fiona Katauskas cartoon, a woman asks Scott Morrison, 'A "gaslight recovery?" SM replies, 'No a gas-led recovery. Where I deny the truth, manipulate the facts and tell you what's bad for you is good! And if you question any of it, I just tell you you're crazy!' The woman says, 'So... a gaslight recovery then?' SM says, 'Best source of power there is.'

If chemical pollution is considered as a challenging problem, then gas is the cleanest energy source. But not the gas from fracking.

I agree that the political space is today devoid of policies and ideas. We constantly hear of the economy and fail to realise people are behind the economy and everything should be done to allow people to flourish as people. Their education and health are primordial and they should be allowed to receive a just reward for their efforts. Politics today is too focused on economy not enough on human well-being

Isn't this one of the people who was trying to con us into believing that there was such a thing as clean coal??? The burning of all types of gas leads to increasing CO2 levels. With coal seam gas - the gas obtained from fracking - methane as well as CO2 are released into the environment. Many scientists are warning that fracking gases can be as polluting as the burning of coal. A gas-led recovery is really an an environmental disaster! We urgently need to be switching to clean, renewable and cheaper energy sources and not listening to the false claims of our snake oil pushing public relations PM.
