You do realize the American Geophysical union has published scientific studies from their Antarctic ground bases in the last month and is advising the Antarctic has been gaining at a rate of 200 billion tonnes of ice a year and will continue at a rate of 80-200 for the next 30 years...existing scientists looked at the eastern ice sheet. They extended the study to the interior and the west and cut core drill holes into the ice to measure the years. This is a very accurate measure and presents as clearly as a "ring" in a trees annual growth cycle. This illustration is terribly misleading to the uninformed.

Cool Fiona. Not enough is being done by Australia in terms of Climate Change. Renewable energy certainly needs more commitment. Environmental scientists and their information are brushed aside internally by many systems, employers and politics, in Australia. Links to well informed, reliable information are important to all of us. The American Geophysical union, sounds like a poor research or not credible.
