Scott Morrison does not deserve even the worst award. I am ashamed of his and the governments 'turn back the boats' policy. Shame Australia Shame we should be shouting.

Thanks Fiona, the foot in the boat (of Scott Morrison) is a foot on my heart. On a daily basis I see and hear how new arrivals struggle with having left their country, how they long for the good times they had....before war made them refugees. I see how the mean-spirited fights in our parliament and media make them feel uneasy and unwelcome; I see how they struggle with the knowledge that some family-members are still stuck in war; I see their incomprehension when they arrive in the land of plenty - just to be bewildered by paperwork and rules - instead of a deep and compassionate welcome. I see this and I cry. Liellie = Random Acts of Welcome
