The UN meeting clashed with the USA meeting . The USA meeting was the more important in that the outcome will affect the lives of all Australians while the UN meeting will not. It was appropriate that the PM went to the US meeting and the Foreign Minister to the UN, the forum usually attended by the Foreign Ministers of the nations attending. Our politicians don't necessarily get everything wrong. This time they got it right.
