Fariborz Karqmi's refrigerated body now lies in Nauru and his mother wants to have his body and to bury him anywhere except Nauru of Iran, from where he, his mother and his young brother fled. I think his death is the thirteenth death of asylum seekers that have been sent to Nauru or Manus Island. How many more asylum seekers have to die before our Australian Government stops this cruel policy? Unless we all engage in political advocacy to stop such cruelty, aren't we part of this social sin - this sin that results in depair and death of such innocent people?
